Eagles Wrap Up Spring Practice

Spring football practice wrapped up last week for the East Jackson Eagles as the program prepares to enter its third season.

The Eagles are coming off of a 2008 run that showed flashes of promise. The Eagles went 3-7 overall, and 3-6 in their first season of region play in 8-AA, recording wins over Oglethorpe County, Rabun County and Dawson County, as well coming close in games against West Hall and North Oconee.

The Eagles finished seventh in the subregion last year.

After spring practice, the Eagles will have to wait until after August 1 to hit the field again for practice.

The Georgia high school football season begins Friday, August 28.
