Spring football practice got underway last week for the Eagles of East Jackson, as the EJCHS football program prepares to enter its junior season.
The Eagles will enter the 2009 season off of a 2008 run that showed flashes of promise. The Eagles went 3-7 overall, and 3-6 in their first season of region play in 8-AA. East Jackson recorded wins over
Oglethorpe County, Rabun County and Dawson County, as well as just missing in close games against West Hall and North Oconee.
