Lady Dragons’ season ends with loss to Spartans

The Jefferson girls’ tennis team saw their 2009 season come to a close as they lost 3-0 to the number five ranked Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans in round two of state playoff action last week.

Greater Atlanta Christian is the defending AA state champions.

Following their win over Jefferson, GAC went on to defeat Calhoun, and will face Screven County in the semi-finals.


The Lady Dragons ended their season with a 12-2 record, and the region 8-AA championship.
