JHS boys bested by Blessed Trinity; girls fall to GAC

Both JHS tennis teams fell in the second round of state play this week. The boys lost to Blessed Trinity at home on Tuesday while the girls came up short against GAC Wednesday afternoon.

Last week, the girls began state play last week by defeating Rockmart while the boys also won in the first round of state play against Model.

Both teams posted strong regular season play, falling only to top-ranked Athens Academy on their way to the state's round of 16.
