Diamond Tigers Prepare For Doubleheader Thursday

The Commerce baseball Tigers picked up two wins last week.

Commerce defeated Social Circle on Tuesday and Towns County Thursday.

This week, Commerce will host a doubleheader against region opponent Tallulah Falls starting at 4:30 p.m., Thursday afternoon.

Tallulah Falls has yet to pick up a region win and is 2-8 overall while Commerce is 12-6 overall and 9-1 in region play.

Then, on Friday, April 24, the Tigers will be on the road facing Lakeview Academy at 4:30. Lakeview is undefeated in the region and has beaten Commerce in the last four contests.

Commerce prevailed Tuesday against Social Circle with a 13-2 win in five innings.
