Both JHS tennis teams win first round of state

Both the boys and girls tennis teams at Jefferson High School won the first round of state playoffs this week.

The girls won its first round of state play Wednesday, slamming Rockmart 5-0 at Jefferson.

The JHS boys topped Model Thursday afternoon 5-0 for its first round of state playoffs.

Both teams earlier won their respective Region 8-AA trophies.
