Mark it down as another strong showing for the Jackson County track teams, as both boys and girls teams took second place at East Jackson last Tuesday.
The girls garnered 86.5 points, finishing just behind first place Rabun County, who had 88.5 points.
Among the winners last week were Krishawnda Ledford, who placed first in the long jump, second in the 100-meters and second in the 200-meters. Brittany Aikens placed first in the 3200-meters. Rachel Pasko placed first in the 1600-meters and second in the 800-meters.
