The baseball Tigers have fallen into a pattern of win one, lose one.
The diamond Tigers are 6-4 overall and are currently undefeated in the region, holding at 3-0 as the team went into Tuesday’s game against Towns County. Results from Tuesday’s game were unavailable at press time.
Coming up for Commerce is region opponent Tallulah Falls on Friday. The game starts at 5:15 p.m. at Tallulah Falls.
The Indians have yet to win a region game this season and are 2-3 overall. Tallulah Falls is allowing an average of 10 runs per game, which bodes well for Tiger hitters. Last season, the Tigers won 12-2 and 9-1.
Last week, Commerce picked up two region wins by beating Hebron and Social Circle while dropping a game to Jefferson.
