It was a tough week for Banks County’s Leopard soccer team.
After a hard 2-0 loss on Tuesday to Dawson County, the Leopards came back to defeat East Jackson 2-0.
Banks took the win over the Eagles as Wilians Olandez and Alex Vang scored goals for the Leopards.
Up next for the Leopards was Union County Friday night. The Leopards ran into trouble and were outmatched by Union. Banks took its fifth loss of the season, 1-0.
“We played solid all week, but were just outmatched against Dawson and Union,” said coach Michael Boomer. “Last week was tough with three games in four days, yet the kids played well.”
Coming up for Banks County, the Leopards will finish the season at home, as Towns County challenges the Leopards on Thursday at 7 p.m.
