The annual Winder-Barrow High School Cook Holliday Rotary Relays are becoming as much about the weather as the quality track compeititon at W. Clair Harris Stadium.
Such was the case again this year as rain moved in the area Friday and continued all day Saturday. Despite the conditions, the event was held as a few teams remained for the event.
Amanda Cope and Rebecca Gregory took top honors in girls 3,200-meter run. The WBHS distance runners ran a 12:23 and 13:13 respectively to easily outdistance their competition.
The Lady Bulldogg 4x800-meter relay team of Kayla Estes, Bethaney Murphy, Marie Lyle and Cope was first in 11:11.
