Coming off a strong showing against Eastside, the Jackson County Panthers tennis teams were hoping to keep their momentum going as they traveled to Hart County last week to face the Bulldogs.
They saw that momentum stalled, however, as both the boys and girls teams came up empty, losing 5-0 to Hart County.
“Hart County just has a much more experienced team,” said girls’ coach Natalie Peterson, who pointed out that 13 of her 15 girls are new to the sport.
