While the weather kept Banks County off the baseball diamond Friday and Monday, the Leopards are ready to get back into the swing of things.
Banks is on the road today (Wednesday), taking on Elbert County at 5:30 p.m.
The game will be a rematch for Banks after last week’s 10-7 loss to Elbert.
Up next, the Diamond Leopards will look for a repeat performance over Franklin County. Banks hosts the Lions Friday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. Last week the Leopards battled Franklin for an 8-1 win.
Next Monday Banks will get to face the Commerce Tigers after this week’s game was canceled due to the winter weather, the March 2 game against Commerce is postponed until March 23.
The Leopards will be in Commerce March 9, at 5:30 p.m. before diving into region play next week.
