Dragons face Oglethorpe County Friday

The weather played havoc with several teams last week, including the Jefferson boys’ soccer team.

Inclement weather forced the cancellation of last week’s games against Union County on Monday and East Jackson on Saturday.

Jefferson will next travel to Oglethorpe County to face the Patriots on Friday. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Dragons were able to take the field on Thursday against Banks County, a team that came into the pairing with a 4-1 record.

That stretched to 5-1 with a 2-0 victory that went into overtime.
